Description: The best waves in Guatemala, an exotic black-sand beach and a tranquil fishermen village are the common features here.
All that, and the opportunity to support the conservation of the Sipacate-Naranjo National Park, its Mangrove Forest, the beach and the Marine Turtles led us to chose this spot.
Our biggest waves can be surfed during our rainy season, between June and October, although the sandbars are constantly moving (due to the power and speed of the waves themselves), which makes them a bit technical. Between the months of December and April (although the average height is 5-6 feet) the sandbars are quite stable, offering the cleaniest sessions.
