Our newspaper is published every month on Thursday. Our readers are primarily foreign business people and diplomats living in Slovenia and foreign visitors who come here either for business or pleasure. A significant share of our readers (approximately 25 percent) is composed of Slovenian businessmen and businesswomen. Generally, our readers are well educated, well traveled, and successful in their areas of work. They can obtain one of our 15,000 copies upon arrival to and departure from the Ljubljana Airport, while checking into the best Slovenian hotels or eating at the finest restaurants, and when attending conferences and seminars. Currently, we are offering the newspaper free of charge as a way to welcome the 1.1 million foreign visitors who come and visit Slovenia every year.

The Slovene Press Agency (STA) was founded on June 20 1991, five days before Slovenia's declaration of independence and the subsequent aggression of the Yugoslav army. The STA has since become the national press agency, covering events at home and worldwide with its own, as well as foreign sources.
The agency is a member of the European Association of Press Agencies, and exchanges reports with the following press agencies: APA, ANSA, HINA, TANJUG, MTI, DPA, AFP, AP, IRNA, ATA, TASR, ITAR-TASS, XINHUA, MIA, MAKFAX, MINA. The STA service are produced by nearly one hundred employees and part-time workers.
