The Slon Hotel is situated in the center of Ljubljana. It is not far from the tourist sights of the city or to congressional and bussines buildings for those who come here on official business.

The Hotel Cerkno features recently renewed rooms and every comfort our guests require. Sports teams are welcome to use our indoor swimming pool and gym in Cerkno or Idrija and our tennis courts. Several marked and maintained paths extend from around the hotel, enabling our guests to take anything from a leisurely one-hour stroll to a four-hour hike; some of the paths are also suitable for mountain biking. There are also several day-trip destinations: the Franja partisan hospital, the Ravne grotto, the Idria museum, and Divje jezero, wild lake.

There is a large car park next to the hotel. The adjacent Grand Hotel Toplice, its sister hotel, offers a thermal pool as well as a host of wellness programs. A private lido is close by.
Alternatively, the newly opened Ziva Wellness Centre at the nearby Golf Hotel offers a thermal pool complex, a sauna world and a beauty centre.
