 Description: Together with the MOEA's overseas units, county and city Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committees, industrial promotion teams of the Industrial Development Bureau, research institutions, and local and foreign enterprises, the IDIC organizes investment promotion missions and sponsors investment promotion activities to encourage foreign investors and Taiwanese companies to invest in Taiwan. The IDIC also carries out industrial assistance programs with the aim of helping Taiwanese companies with operations overseas and in China to cultivate their businesses both locally and internationally. The IDIC also assists with measures to recruit science and technology personnel from abroad and to establish a talent search database to enhance the recruitment efforts of Taiwanese companies.
