Description: The Department of Parks and Recreation offers public hikes every Saturday to a wide variety of exciting destinations. These hikes are an opportunity to learn what is uniquely Guam. The hikes range from Easy to Very Difficult. The length is from 1 mile to 8 miles with an elevation gain from flat to 1,800 feet. The duration of the hikes is from 1 to 6 hours. A variety of terrain includes sandy beachs, volcanic formations, mud, steep hills, mountains, jagged limestone, sword grass, jungle, streams, and coral reef terraces.
